William Joseph Seliga, 87, died Sunday, Sept. 14 at a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Marie Seliga.
He was a resident of Orange Beach for the last 22 years and a former resident of Rome, N.Y., for 40 years.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha (David) Johnson of Orange Beach and Mary (William) Gass of Silverhill; three sisters, Jeanny Bosco, Helen Ankney and Patty Nuttal, all of Latrobe, Pa.; five grandchildren, Dixie Leigh (Richard) Nolte, William Rhett Johnson, Richard (Erin) LaGreco Jr., Jason (Paige) LaGreco and Bryan LaGreco; former son-in-law, Richard LaGreco Sr.; and his dog Blackjack.
Visitation begins at noon with funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Foley.
