SEMINOLE, Ala. — Several wildland firefighting units with the Alabama Forestry Commission and volunteer fire departments are battling a large wildfire in the Seminole area of Baldwin County near the Florida line.

The fire, which has been burning for two days, has already grown to more than 200 acres and it may be necessary to deploy additional resources to contain the flames.

The Alabama Forestry Commission is advising all motorists in this area to use caution as smoke may create visibility problems.
