MOBILE, Ala. ─ The

2011 Senior Lifestyle Expo will be held Wednesday, March 16, at the

Greater Gulf States Fairgrounds, located on Zeigler Boulevard in

Mobile.

2011 Senior Lifestyle Expo will be held Wednesday, March 16, at the

Greater Gulf States Fairgrounds, located on Zeigler Boulevard in

Mobile.

Commission Area Agency on Aging, this free event is open to adults

55 and older and family caregivers from Baldwin Mobile and

Escambia

"font-size: 12pt">counties from

"font-size: 12pt">10 a.m.

"font-size: 12pt">to 1

p.m.

"font-size: 12pt">The Wellness Pavilion will showcase fitness

demonstrations and a variety of free medical screenings including

blood pressure, glucose, hearing, vision, memory, bone density,

skin cancer. Participants are invited to bring their medication

list and “Ask the Pharmacist” questions they may have about their

prescriptions. Seasonal flu shots will also be

available.

"font-size: 12pt">Everyone will receive a free, reusable grocery

tote, which can be used at the Expo to hold giveaways and

information provided by more than 100 exhibitors. There will also

be entertainment, games, prizes and gifts throughout the day. The

grand prize this year is a $650 vacation package at the Wind Creek

Casino and Hotel. Event parking is also free of

charge.

at the Culinary Pavilion.

“umbrella agency” that funds and oversees services for

approximately 100,000 older adults age 60 and over in

Baldwin
