MOBILE, Ala. — Every 20 minutes, a husband, son, father or

grandfather dies from prostate cancer, the most common type of

cancer found in American men.

Age and family history are the major risk factors. The disease

is more common among African-American men. Healthcare experts at

Infirmary Health suggest that men begin yeharly prostate cancer

screenings at age 50.

If you are at

higher risk, start screenings between age 40 and 45. Free prostate

cancer screenings are available from 10 a.m. to noon, at Bass

Pro
