DAPHNE, Ala. — According to a report received by the Baldwin County Health Department today from Daphne Utilities, a grease blockage in a sanitary sewer main resulted in an estimated 200 gallons of sewage being discharged into an unnamed tributary of Tiawassee Creek behind Creekside subdivision in Daphne.
The health department urges residents to exercise caution if using this body of water for recreational purposes.
Also, thoroughly cook any fish or seafood caught near by and wash hands after handling fish or seafood.
