SFEEF annual meeting set for Monday

SPANISH FORT, Ala.—Spanish Fort Education Enrichment Foundation's annual meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 6 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Spansihf Fort Middle School cafeteria.

Baldwin County school board president, Tracy Roberts, will present a PowerPoint presentation on how the Spanish Fort schools will be affected by the financial crunch due to the state decrease in funding for all the schools.

Roberts attended a called meeting by Gov. Bob Riley for all state school superintendents and school board presidents on March 23 in Montgomery to go over the financial situation and what to expect in financial funding for all the state school districts.

Parents and students alike are encouraged to attend Monday's meeting

The Spanish Fort High School choral group will give a performance at the beginning of the meeting. 

 SFEEF is instrumental in funding educational enrichment programs, equipment and materials along with annual teacher/student grants to all Spanish Fort schools. 

SFEEF is supported by foundation memberships and sponsorships from individuals and businesses of the Eastern Shore and Mobile area.
