Shelton Edward Walker, 72, a native of Bremen, Ga. and resident of Daphne, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a master sergeant. He was a member of Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church.
Shelton was preceded in death by his father, William Russell Walker; his mom and dad, Evelyn and Willis McBride; and his siblings, Joe and Francis McBride.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jane Walker of Daphne; his sons, Shelton Eugene Walker of Ballplay, Ala. and David Earl Walker of Fort Worth, Texas; his brothers, Joe Walker and Bill Walker; grandchildren, Shelton T. Walker, Darcy Dodson, Zachary Dodson, Kyle Louis Walker, Danielle Elizabeth Walker and Ashley Anne Walker; a great-grandchild, Raymond Anthony Dodson; two special puppies, Travis and Trina; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Celebration of life services will be held Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at 10 a.m., from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. His family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to service time.
Interment will be held at a later date at Jubilee Memorial Gardens in Daphne.
