DAPHNE, Ala.—The Daphne Elementary Red Ribbon Leadership Award winner for this year is Abby Parker. 

Abby was selected by faculty members because she exemplifies the character traits of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. 

Abby is involved in service projects through her church that include visits to Mexico at Christmas to assist the poor.

Abby will attend the Superintendents’ Red Ribbon Awards Dinner on Jan. 12, 2009 at the Daphne Civic Center.
