Fu ji Aniya announces the engagement of her daughter, Emiko Aniya Shimazaki, to John Leo Lake.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Fu ji Aniya and the late Se i he i Aniya of Okinawa, Japan.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Lake of Daphne, and Mr. and Mrs. Dominic J. Ciresi of New Port Richey, Fla.
She is a graduate of the University of South Alabama.
He is a graduate of the University of Mobile. He is employed at Northrop Grumman Ship Systems in Pascagoula, Miss.
The couple will exchange vows at 2:30 p.m. May 4, 2008 at Daphne’s Bayfront Park.
