Shirley M. Williams Anderson was born April 16, 1944 to the late Floyd and Callie Williams in Bromley.
Shirley attended Douglasville High School.
Shirley was preceded in death by both her parents as well as one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry Anderson; two sons, Patrick Williams and Terrell (D’Andrea) Anderson; two grandchildren, Cydney and Jaylen Anderson; one goddaughter, Latonya Clayton; two sisters, Mercy Palmer and Sandra (Walter) Woodrow; five brothers, Artie (Carolyn) Bolden, Phillip (Cynthia) Williams, James Henry Williams, Larry (Gloria) Williams, and James Earl (Aretha) Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services were May 5, 2012, at at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes, Fairhope. Interment was at the Williams family cemetery in Bromley.
