ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — Police arrested Nicholas Stanley Ott, 23, of Robertsdale on a charge of violating the terms of his $10,000 bail.
According to Sheriff’s Office spokesman, Major Anthony Lowery, Ott was found at his mother’s home on Driskell Road in Loxley Monday afternoon, March 16.
The arrest came a few hours after the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office sent out an alert looking for Ott.
Ott was arrested last December and charged with the shooting of an acquaintance, Raymond R. Murphy III, 25. Murphy was found at 22192 College Ave., which police say was Ott’s home. Murphy has since recovered from his injuries.
The shooting, police sources said at the time, resulted from an “altercation” the two men had had earlier that evening.
According to court documents, Ott faces further charges of interference of custody of a 17-year-old girl from Daphne in papers filed Monday, March 16, and a Dec. 20 charge of driving under the influence in Foley.
