Audrey Yvonne Holladay Silcox, born Nov. 27, 1940 in Toulminville, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 after a three-year battle with ovarian cancer.
She was raised at the family home on the bay in Daphne. She graduated from Fairhope High School, class of 1959. After 25 years of being an Air Force family, they returned to her loving family and Daphne in 1991.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Audrey Foster Holladay.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Conrad Silcox of Daphne; two sons, Thomas (Kim) Silcox of Jacksonville, Fla., Jeffrey (Gianna) Silcox of Fairhope, daughter, Crystal (Shane) Jeter of Daphne; six grandchildren, Katie Silcox of Jacksonville, Fla., Hampton and Haley Addiss of Daphne, Scott and Joshua Jeter of Daphne and Gabriel Silcox of Fairhope; sister, Peggy (Ken) Kastorff of Wilmer; aunts, Shirley Bertagnolli of Huntsville, Teresa Latshaw of Dublin, Ga., and one special aunt, sister, friend, Patricia (Ted) Box of Silverhill; uncles, Butch Foster, Hugh Foster and Stewart Foster of Daphne, Buddy Foster of Lawrenceburg, Ind., and Buford Foster of Fairhope; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 17 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Belforest Community Cemetery.
