Mrs. Daphne Clark’s 6th grade students studied a unit in Social Studies on the Vietnam War. One of Mrs. Clark’s students, Aaron Godfrey, invited his grandfather to come speak at Silverhill Elementary. Edd Godfrey served two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the United States Air Force and worked as an aircraft mechanic. He shared a lot of valuable information and encouraged the students to “Make their mark!”
