STOCKTON, Ala. — Doug and Martha Simmons of Stockton announce the marriage of their daughter, Samantha Kathleen Simmons of Tuscaloosa, to Stephen Michael Caddis, son of Howard and Jancy Caddis of Duncanville.

The couple married on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at the Jemison-Van de Graaff Mansion in Tuscaloosa, with the Rev. Sherril Hill officiating. A dance reception at the mansion followed the ceremony.

The bride wore a candlelight chiffon and lace halter gown trimmed in pearl beading and fitted with a lace-edged train. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses and calla lilies, and was given in marriage by her father.

The bride’s attendants included Matron of Honor Patti McGuire and Maid of Honor Paige Ford, along with Debbie Griffin and Jessica Snyder.

The groom’s attendants were Best Man Andrew Pritchard and groomsmen Jeff Koster, Adam Ridgway, and Brandon Collins.

Nieces Reece Caddis and Elaina Caddis served as flower girls, and nephews Griffin Caddis and Peyton Caddis were ring bearers.

The bride’s grandparents are Martin and Edith McGuire and the late Martin and Dorothy Simmons. The groom’s grandparents are Earl and Betty Caddis and the late Jerrell and Johnnie Lake.

The couple honeymooned in the Florida Keys and will reside in the Tuscaloosa area, where Samantha teaches at Eastwood Middle School and Stephen is a supervisor with Civil WORX.
