Sheila Carr Simms, 61, a native of Birmingham, a former resident of Foley and a resident of Daphne, died Saturday June 20, 2009.
She was a member of Daphne United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gary S. Simms of Daphne; daughter, Hannah F. Simms of Daphne; aunt, Ella Peek of Athens; cousin, Carol (Bennett) Hayes of Athens; sisters-in-law, Belinda (Peter) Villarreal of Irvington, and Romona (Clint) Dobson of Grand Bay; brother-in-law, Donald Simms of Mobile; nieces, Kristen Hunt of Grand Bay and Morgan Dobson of Grand Bay; nephews, P.J. (Catherine) Villarreal of Satsuma and Chase Villarreal of Irvington; and one grand nephew, Christopher Villarreal of Satsuma.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 22 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Viewing begins at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23 at Daphne United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
