Elizabeth Ellen Sims and Dionne Nicole Brown would like to announce their marriage. The couple was joined in marriage Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Phineas Swann in Montgomery Center, VT.
Elizabeth is the daughter of John A. Sims, Jr. and the late Dorothy Ellen Goodman of Pensacola, FL. Her grandparents are the late John A. Sims, Sr. and Margaret Salter Sims of Fairhope, AL and the late George Robert Goodman and Ellen Irene Wright of Tifton, GA. She graduated Pensacola High School in 1999 and George Mason University in 2005 with a degree in History. Upon graduation from GMU, Ms. Sims joined the Unted States Army. Currently serving in Aphganistan, SPC Sims is based out of Fort Benning, GA.
Dionne is the daughter of the late Donald Dean Brown and Therese Ingrid Brown of Las Vegas, NV. Her grandparents are Ricardo and Greta Woods of Belize City, Belize. She graduated from Chaparral HIgh School in 2003. SPC Brown also serves with the United States Army and is stationed in Fort Carson, CO.
After a short honeymoon at Pensacola Beach, the couple will start their new life together, apart as SPC Sims returns to Aphganistan.
