Michele Bullard Smith, 66, a native of Birmingham, a former resident of Laurel, Miss., and Lake Charles, La., and a resident of Robertsdale, died Friday, July 24, 2009.
She was a graduate of Agnes Scott, Atlanta and received her Masters degree in Math from Auburn University. She taught at many Junior Colleges in the South East and for over 12 years at McNeese State University in Lake Charles.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth (Wesley) Moore of Summerdale; son, Larry Smith of Rock Springs Wyo.; sister, Carol Rhodes of Greenville, S.C.; brother, Haran Bullard of Birmingham; and one granddaughter, Libby Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28 at Memory Chapel in Laurel, Miss. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery in Laurel, Miss.
