Adelaide Callaway Smith, age 87, of Gulf Shores, died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Golden Living Center in Foley.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Gulf Shores.
She was preceded in death bby her parents Joshua Callaway and Blanche Appelman Callaway.
Survivors include her husband, Woodson Smith of Bay Minette; nephew Steve (Bev) Smith of Navarre, Fla.; two sons, John Z. Hinds of Macon, Ga., and William L. Hind of Port St. Joe, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
Visitation was held Wednesday, April 22 at Pine Rest Funeral Home, Foley. Graveside funeral services followed at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Gulf Shores, P.O. Box 256, Gulf Shores, AL 36547.
