S’mores on the Shore whips up sweet spring fun

Posted

Campfires, live music and s’mores will be the scene as the city of Gulf Shores hosts its first S’mores on the Shore event of the season. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. on May 23 at the west end of the Gulf Shores Public Beach.

These family-friendly events started in 2010 and have quickly become the perfect recipe for families of all ages who are looking for a little free fun and excitement.

“Each year, S’mores on the Shore seems to grow in popularity,” said Programs and Events Supervisor Lesley Dethloff. “When you combine our beautiful beaches, live music, campfires and s’mores, it really does make for an incredible night.”

S’mores on the Shore will feature live music from Sugarcane Jane, campfires and all of the makings for s’mores.

Guests are encouraged to bring their blankets, chairs, friends and family to join the fun and relax on the beautiful, white sand of the Gulf Shores Public Beach.
