FOLEY, Alabama — David Swensen, with StarKey Self Storage, has been named the Chairman of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce Diplomat Program.
Swensen began serving as a Diplomat in January 2009. Swensen and his wife Chris moved to Foley from Iowa twelve years ago. The couple has been managing StarKey Self Storage for the past 11 years which is “storage central” for any business’ needs. They fax, copy, notarize and have a conference room available all free of charge. In addition, they offer off site record storage as well.
Christina Weaver, Operation Manager for Frances Holk-Jones, State Farm, is the program’s new Vice Chair. Weaver became Operations Manager for Frances Holk-Jones, State Farm in October 2009. Her duties include daily office management and solicitation and sales of insurance and financial service products. Weaver began serving as a diplomat in January, 2009 and has won Diplomat of the Month for both June, 2010 and February 2011. Weaver has been a resident of South Baldwin Area for over 13 years and is looking forward to serving this community for many more.
