FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Southern Edge Dance Center recently performed several dynamic numbers at the 23rd annual “Jazz on Tap” (The Metro Atlanta Jazz & Tap Festival).
The festival originally began with the hopes of bringing the fire and excitement of live dance to the public.
Over the years dancers have traveled to Georgia from 20 states and as far away as Germany to perform.
SED dancers added their spark to the flame rounding out the show with “Cirque Royale.”
The festival presented an opportunity for dancers to participate in a concert level performance where competition is not the focus.
Master classes with renowned professionals encouraged dancers of all ages to grow as both artists and technicians.
Audiences were also enriched as they enjoyed the high energy generated only from a live dance performance.
SED will be holding auditions to join their company on March 27. Call (251) 610-8902 for more information.
