MOBILE — Out of the 257 total players selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, 110 of them finished their collegiate careers at the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile.

With 43% of the entire NFL Draft’s selections, this marks the fourth consecutive year where Senior Bowl draft picks have accounted for at least 40% of the entire class. Before 2021, the Senior Bowl had never had 100 players drafted in a single year which also makes this the fourth straight year the game has hit triple-digit selections.

“It’s always great moving the bar higher for the Senior Bowl but mostly we’re just happy for all those young men who realized their lifelong dream of getting drafted,” Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy said. “Everyone at the Senior Bowl is truly grateful for so many great players choosing to make our game part of their NFL journeys.”

Spanish Fort High School’s first NFL Draft picks, Kris Abrams-Draine (pick 145 overall to the Denver Broncos) and DJ James (pick 192 overall to the Seattle Seahawks), were among the 65 Senior Bowl alumni selected in Rounds 4-7. The former Missouri and Auburn Tigers also helped make the SEC the most-picked conference with 28 total draft selections.

Auburn also joined Notre Dame with four total selections which marked the second-most behind Michigan and Oregon with five.

James will have a familiar face in Seattle in college teammate Nehemiah Pritchett who was selected 136th overall and helped put the Seahawks among eight teams who selected five or more Senior Bowlers. The Green Bay Packers led the way wight eight Senior Bowl alumni where Seattle was tied for second with the Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans at six.

The 110 total players drafted marked 80% of the 2024 Senior Bowl roster of 139 players.
