Spectrum Resorts Announces New General Manager for Turquoise Place

Orange Beach, Ala. — Spectrum Resorts, a leader in managing luxury vacation residences along the Alabama Gulf Coast, is pleased to announce Duane Dickson has joined the company as General Manager of Turquoise Place. With extensive professional resort management experience, he’s not new to the industry. Dickson’s history includes a 20-year background in resort management that started at Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan Resorts. His experience includes managing resort openings in Virginia Beach, Va. and Orlando, Fla., and directing the conversion of a residential community to a resort in Las Vegas, Nev.

“I am looking forward to working with a continuously growing company that is focused on creating a 5-star destination resort environment that is unlike any other in the area,” says Dickson. “As General Manager of Turquoise Place, my primary responsibilities lie in the operational functions of the resort as well as increasing the number of participants in our rental management program,” said Dickson.

Dickson, who started at Spectrum Resorts on February 6, 2012, holds a degree from the University of Central Florida with a focus in Hospitality Management. His career in management includes positions as Director of Guest Services, Director of Operations and General Manager. Dickson holds a current certification in Community Association Management from the State of Florida, and previously in Nevada.
