DAPHNE, Ala. — Athletes are embodied in paint in the U.S. Sports Academy’s exhibit “The Road to Beijing Olympics Through Art,” which runs through December.
It includes more than 80 pieces by artists from Australia to China; the exhibit is free to the public and is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, according to Mark Stevens, U.S. Sports Academy director of communications.
The show runs in conjunction with the start of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games on Aug. 8; the opening ceremony will air at 7 p.m. on NBC 15.
