Celebrating its Silver Anniversary, please join Mercy Medical for the 25th annual Charity Golf Tournament on August 25 at Rock Creek Golf Club. Mercy’s tournament is one of this area's oldest and most popular charity tournaments because it offers a great day of golf while raising funds for Mercy’s pediatric home care patients, hospice patients, as well as other patient charity care in our community. Coaches Marshal Davis and Scott Harville will be presenting the Hickory House All Star Summer Basketball Camp for both boys and girls is today and Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon, at the Robertsdale High School gymnasium.
Davis is the head coach for the RHS Golden Bears mens’ team and Harville does the same for the ladies.
The cost of the camp is $45, however, it goes to $50 for late registrations. The price is $40 for multiple campers from a family.

One-hundred twenty of the most talented college soccer players will be making their way to Orange Beach this December to showcase their skills in the first ever Tourbeau College Soccer Showcase.
From December 5 through 9, athletes will participate in a training camp that will demonstrate their skills through drills, practices, games and classroom time with coaches from around the nation. The athletes will be selected from an application process that is open only to NAIA athletes classified as juniors or seniors along with 10 “wildcard” positions open for non-NAIA athletes. All events will be performed in front of top professional clubs and scouts including the MLS, USL, USSF‐D2, NASL, J‐League, A‐League and other international organizations.
The event also feature several high profile guests including current US Men’s National Team and Columbus Crew MF Robbie Rogers, former NY Red Bull and Tampa Bay Rowdie, Gordon Kljestan (who is currently with the LA Galaxy Academy Coaching Staff). Also present throughout the week will be current USL‐PRO Dayton Dutch Lion FW Kolby Lacrone.

Wintzell’s Oyster House is proud to present the fifth annual Wintzell’s Golf Classic, held at Lakewood Golf Club at The Grand Hotel today.
The event, benefitting America’s Distinguished Young Women, begins at 7:15 a.m. with registration and breakfast in the company of the Distinguished Young Women finalists. An 8:30 a.m. shotgun start will begin the tournament, followed by an awards lunch at Wintzell’s Oyster House in Fairhope. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive, closest to the hole, straightest drive, longest drive made, as well as a putting contest and a hole-in-one contest sponsored by Terry Thompson Chevrolet.

Keep your children active this summer with a Pensacola State College volleyball camp at the Hartsell Arena, Building 3, on the Pensacola campus.
The Beginner Volleyball Camp for fourth to sixth grade students is July 11–13 from 9 a.m. to noon. The camp costs $60 and helps players gain knowledge in all aspects of the sport including building individual and team skills.
The Skills Volleyball Camp for seventh to ninth grade students is July 11–13 from 1-4 p.m. The camp costs $75 and is geared for beginner and intermediate players to gain knowledge in all aspects of the sport.
The Setting and Hitting Volleyball Camp for ninth to 12th grade is July 11–13 from 6-9 p.m. The camp costs $75 and is for intermediate to advanced players to learn advanced techniques for setting and hitting to build individual skills.
