The Baldwin Humane Society is planning "Dog Gone Scramble II"……a benefit golf tournament, on Friday June 3 beginning with 11 a.m. check-in at Craft Farms Golf Resort. The 12th Annual Benefit Golf Outing for Habitat for Humanity is Friday at Cotton Creek at Craft Farms.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

On Friday Realty Executives Gulf Coast will host its 12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Habitat for Humanity. It will be held on the Cotton Creek Course at The Craft Farms Golf Course in Gulf Shores, Al. Habitat has provided thousands of low-income families with new hope in the form of affordable housing. Currently, Habitat for Humanity has built more than 300,000 houses, sheltering more than 1.5 million people in more than 3,000 communities worldwide.
The tournament this year will once again be a 4-person scramble with registration starting at 11:00 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. The entry fee is $500.00 per team or $125.00 per person. That includes 18 holes of golf, food, beverages’, and a chance to win many great prizes.
In appreciation for our “Team Sponsors” and “Hole Sponsors” we will have a drawing for a 42”LCD TV. On our 50’ or longer putt raffle the winner will receive an 8 day 7 night Hawaiian vacation for two.

The 31st Annual NAIA Women’s Softball National Championship, scheduled for May 19 – 25, consists of 32 teams hosted by the Gulf Shores Sportsplex.
The festivities begin on May 18th with a “welcome parade” and banquet at The Wharf. The parade begins at 5:30 followed by a Luau themed banquet. Tickets for the banquet are $25 and may be purchased at the door (cash/check only).
The action begins on Thursday, May 19th at 9:00am at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex. Games will be played every day leading up to the championship game on Wednesday, May 25.
Tickets can be purchased on site: prices - $8 per day for adults and $3 for children ages 4-10, or purchase an All Tournament Pass (good for whole week) for $30.

The Robertsdale High School Bear Club announces the first RHS Bear Club Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament.
The tournament will be held May 14, at Glenlakes Golf Club in Foley. The three man/woman scramble will begin at 9 a.m. and will conclude with lunch.
Proceeds from the tournament will go towards equipment purchases for the RHS Football Team.
The tournament will be following the conclusion of RHS Football Spring Training which began Monday. RHS will play its Spring Game Friday May 13 at JD Sellers Stadium in Robertsdale and the Golf Tournament will be the following morning. This is a great way to support your Golden Bears as they enter the 2011-2012 season.
