With a virtual trip to Saint John's Abbey and University, 8th Grade art class learned about the art of Illumination and calligraphy to make books and The Bible.

In Fourth Grade art, we are learning about expressions and feelings in art and in Spanish: It is a fun way to learn and mix subjects!

In Third and First grade art, we are painting still life and mastering watercolor and tempera techniques.

Last week in Preschool we finished discussing Dental Health and met Ms. T who takes good care of her tall teeth. We made special snacks that looked like a smile with teeth. They were made of apples slices, peanut butter and mini marshmallows. The kids loved them! We also discussed how to be safe. Wearing seat belts in a car/truck and wearing a helmet when riding a bike or skating. The children made a chart showing how many wheels their bicycles have, 2, 3 or 4. Friday was Dr. Seuss’s birthday and we read some of his books and made Cat in the Hat hats. Our weather chart for February showed that we had 15 cloudy days, 7 sunny days,

3 rainy days, 2 windy days and 2 foggy days. The number 11 was introduced and in Religion we learned about the Bible.
