St. Mark’s Children Participate in Money Matters

Parents and children at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church recently participated in a workshop led by Darrell Butler of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans called “Parents, Kids, and Money Matters”. The workshop was designed to help parents guide their children in Biblically based values regarding money and developing responsible money habits. Each child received a piggy bank with “share, save, and spend” sections for their use in properly managing their money. St. Mark’s is located on Main Street in Elberta with Sunday services at 7:30 and 9:45 and Bible study for all ages at 8:45.
