St. Peter's Church to host fish fry Thursday

FOLEY, Ala. - St. Peter's Church in Bon Secour will hold its monthly fish fry Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church parish hall.

The menu includes fried mullet, hush puppies, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and homemade desserts. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children, and take-out dinners will be available.

The funds raised from the event benefit the church's outreach programs, including: Ecumenical Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Wilmer Hall, Family Promise, The Lighthouse and relief for tornado victims in northern Alabama.

The church is located at the intersection of County Road 10 and County Road 49.

There also will be fish fry events on the first Thursday in July, August and September.
