Edwina Ryan Stabler was born Oct. 23, 1914 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph Brecken Schwartz and Edwina Virginia Hunter Schwartz, a brother, William Richard Schwartz, her first husband, Bud A. Ryan, and second husband, Frederick Elbrey “Buck” Stabler, Sr.
Survivors include a stepson, Frederick E. “Rick” (Ashton) Stabler Jr. of Fairhope; two nephews, Bill (Judy) Schwartz of Darien, Conn., and Jack (Peggy) Kenny of Sun City Center, Fla.; and two beloved God-daughters, Elizabeth Campbell Scarlett and Barbara Campbell Woodruff, both of Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Visitation will follow at Westminster Village Pete Allen Room, Spanish Fort. A private interment will be held at a later date at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Boligee.
