Posted

Beginning Jan. 27, at 8 a.m., State Road 225 at the CXS railroad crossing near the Crossroads Community in North Baldwin County will be closed for repairs to the crossing.

The detour during the closing will be County Road 138 to State Road 59 to D’Olive Street and reversed.

Weather permitting, the repairs should be completed and the road opened by Jan. 30.

Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this construction to improve Alabama’s roadways.
