Hazel L. Stepney, 86, a native of New York, former resident of Waterbury, Conn., and a resident of Magnolia Springs, died Monday, March 17, 2008.
She was an employee for several years for the Gulf State Park Nature Center in Gulf Shores.
Survivors include her husband: Harold W. Stepney of Magnolia Springs; son, Lee Wesley Stepney of Alton, N.H.; sister, Shirley Grohs of Wolcutt, Conn.; two brothers, Edward W. Bates of Waterbury, Conn., and Donald K. Bates of High View, W.Va.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 21 at Gulf State Park Activities Building in Gulf Shores.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Alabama Sheriff Boys Ranch, 21870 County Road 32, Summerdale, AL 36580.
Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
