Steven Andrew Roussel, age 63, born in New Orleans, and a resident of Fairhope, passed away at home on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013.
He attended and graduated from St. Martin’s Protestant Episcopal High School, Metarie, La. He went on to study at Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, La., majoring in business and accounting and was a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity. He then went to graduate school at LSU, Baton Rouge. He was preceded in death by his father, George Albert Roussel, III and his mother, Dorothy Stokes Roussel. He is survived by his brother, George Albert Roussel IV, MD, of Va., and his sister, Anne Roussel Fornea, Texas; two nieces, Kathryn R. Cassler and Elizabeth R. Walters, both of Va., and two nephews, R. Wesley Fornea and Andrew R. Fornea, both of Texas. A private family service will be held at a later date. Notes of condolence may be made at hughesfh.com.
