Sadie Stewart, 85, a native of Latham and a resident of the Rabun community of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her son, Billy B. Stewart and her husband, Woodrow Stewart.
Survivors include three sons, Burk Stewart, Jerry Stewart and Rocky Stewart, all of Rabun; eight daughters, Betty Allen of Perdido, Barbara Hadley of Pine Grove, Marilyn Anderson of St. Petersburg, Fla., Sherry J. Ryan of Pine Grove, Joal Linette Thomas of Atmore, Margie Doyle of Crossroads, Janice Sims and Shelia Foster, both of Rabun; 33 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 12 at New Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron McGhee officiating. Burial was in Dean Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
