Cakarrey “Tiny” Stewart, 73, a resident of the Pine Grove community of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at Montrose Bay Health Care in Montrose.
He was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Sarah Virginia Hadley Stewart; his son, Kenneth Stewart and his daughter Debra Melissa Stewart Glass.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Lambeth Stewart of Pine Grove; three children, Teresa Stewart Jarrell of Charleston, S.C., Rebecca “Becky” Stewart (Johnny) Hinote of Pine Grove and Angela Nicole “Nicky” Stewart of Pine Grove; brother, Jerry Stewart of Perdido; sister, Barbara Ann Sims of Rabun; four grandchildren, Sarah Elaine Stewart, Katrina Deeann Jarrell, Walter Lee Glass II and Stephanie Marie Glass; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Parker, Junior Hall, Chad Lambert, Tony Hall, Doug Rackard and Denny Carlton. Alternate pallbearers were Ethan Hall and Robert Day.
Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Robertsdale.
