Mr. and Mrs. Rocky Lynn Stewart of Rabun announce the engagement of their daughter, Tonya Lynn Stewart to James Ross “J.R.” Gardner, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Reed of Stockton and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gardner of Perdido.
She is the granddaughter of the late Hamp Joiner and Helon Joiner of Rabun and Sadie and the late Woodrow Stewart of Rabun.
The prospective is the grandson of Glen and Sarah Bryars of Perdido and Claresse and Aubrey Foster of Rabun and George and Diana Nickerson of Rosinton.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Nov. 8, 2008 at The Pavilion, Lower Bryant’s Landing in Stockton. Friends and relatives are invited.
