BAY MINETTE, Alabama — The Baldwin County Commission may approve a 30-minute documentary video of the May 2010 Stockton Homecoming which features residents’ recounting of community history through personal recollections and remembrances from ancestors. Raw footage was taken in 2010 during a dedication ceremony for a historic marker at the site of the Stockton Civic Club, according to an agenda item placed on the May 8 County Commission work session. If approved, the video will be available on the county website free and for purchase at the Baldwin County Archives and History Department, according to county records. During the ceremony, residents depicted the lives of pioneers and early residents of Stockton, as well as their drive to establish a lasting home for themselves and their neighbors, county records stated.
