Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kennedy Striplin of Daphne announce the engagement of their daughter, Eleanor Fadley Striplin, to Patrick John Brindle of Fairfax, Va., the son of Douglas Johnson Brindle of Honolulu and Dr. Margaret Cooper Brindle of Alexandria, Va.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Bayside Academy in Daphne and a 2009 graduate of George Mason University, Fairfax, Va.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of James Robinson High School, Fairfax, Va., and a 2009 graduate of George Mason University.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, June 27, 2009 at St. James Episcopal Church in Fairhope.
