Structure fire leads to two arrests

On Jan. 11,  at approximately 3:30 a.m. the Foley Police Department responded to 301 West Fourth Avenue for a fully involved structure fire. Once on scene, it was discovered, the structure on fire was a camper parked behind the residence.

During the investigation, it was determined that Keairra Presley(21 years of age) had intentionally set the camper on fire. Keairra Presley and Felix Pickens (30 years of age) had been in a dating relationship and had recently separated. Ms. Presley came to Mr. Pickens residence to discuss their past dating relationship and personal belongings. Mr. Pickens then exited the camper and got into his car. Ms. Presley then got into her car. Both vehicles left the area with Mr. Pickens chasing Ms. Presley. Ms. Presley went back to the camper and proceeded to catch the camper on fire. Aaliya Knight (current person he is in a dating relationship with) was in the camper but was able to exit the camper without injury.

Ms. Presley then left the residence again and was followed by Mr. Pickens. Mr. Pickens ran Ms. Presley off of the road and into a brick sign at the entrance to River Trace subdivision. Her vehicle was disabled.

After further investigation, Foley Police were able to make contact with both subjects. No one was injured. Both were arrested.

Keairra Presley was arrested and charged with Arson 1st. Felix Pickens was arrested and charged with Reckless Endangerment -Domestic Violence.

Both subjects also have previous domestic violence charges pending from previous cases.
