Stuart Hall Coleman Jr., 71, a resident of Fairhope, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2014.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church where he played the guitar for the Angel and Teen choirs. He was also an amateur radio operator, an avid photographer, a pilot, and loved to play the guitar and ukulele.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Coleman of Fairhope; son, Stuart Hall Coleman III (Susie) of Scituate, Mass.; two stepsons, Douglas Hobson (Roxie) of Kinsey, Ala. and Darrell Hobson (Leigh Ann) of Tuscaloosa; mother, Paula Marie Coleman of Laguna Hills, Calif.; brother, Larry Coleman of Irvine, Calif.; sister, Sheila McLean (John) of Laguna Hills, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at 11 a.m., at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Baldwin County Catholic High School Capital Campaign.
