FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Students completed their first semester at Family Ministries Center Bible College and made history in Fairhope’s newest ministry college on the Eastern Shore.
“I am so proud of these students,” said the Rev. Gary Robbins, director and academic dean of college. “They came eager to learn, and were very receptive to the Holy Spirit’s guidance throughout the course.”
Most students completed the course via classroom study. Among those participating were: Nancy Kilpatrick, Chris Thomas, Holly Thomas and Sandy Thomas. Just like the old cliche, “The family that prays together, stays together,” Holly and Sandy Thomas, a mother and daughter pair, supported each other throughout their studies.
For those unable to participate in classroom clinical, a correspondence course was the perfect alternative. Among the several that took part in this alternative, Laurie Jensen, mother of three, appreciated the flexibility of an at-home study course. The instructor was available for any questions or additional help whenever needed.
“This was a totally awesome class with so much information. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to learn more about the Bible. The things you learn here apply to every circumstance of life,” Kilpatrick said.
“This school has taught me so much. The material is in depth and very useful,” Holly Thomas said.
