Don “Bud” Suarez, born Jan. 25, 1919 in Pensacola, Fla., died Friday, May 14, 2010.
He was a master sargeant of the U.S. Air Force and a veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Edna Peadro Suarez; brothers Randolph and Durant Suarez; and a sister, Janet Suarez Faris.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Lucie Suarez; daughter, Lucie Ann (Don) Resmondo; two grandchildren, Kimberly Sweeney and Alex Sweeney; six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Monday, May 17 at Grace Lutheran Church, 6601 N. Ninth Ave., Pensacola with Rev. Stephen Linck officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 18 at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Grace Lutheran Church or the Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence, 10075 Hillview Road, Pensacola, FL 32514.
