Loxley United Methodist Church and The McPherson Family Bluegrass Band will host an evening of good, old fashioned, toe-tapping bluegrass gospel music, featuring the award-winning Sullivan Family from St. Stephens, Ala.

This event will take place on Thursday, March 27, from 7-9 p.m., at the church'’s Family Activity Center located on Highway 59 in downtown Loxley.

This is a free concert, however, a love offering will be received.

Enoch and Margie Sullivan have been instrumental in keeping bluegrass gospel music alive since their start in 1951.

They have been inducted into Bill Monroe'’s Bluegrass Hall of Fame, and also received an IBMA award for traditional bluegrass gospel music.
