SUMMERDALE, Ala. — Tickets are now available for the town of Summerdale’s inaugural Christmas concert.

During last week’s Summerdale Town Council workshop, Council Member Norma Wilson Giles announced that the event will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Summerdale Municipal Complex, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, she added.

“All of the money goes to the (Marjorie Younce Snook) Library,” she said.

The evening will feature performances by Howard Reddy, Hanan Tarabay Reddy, Megan Andzulis and Victor Andzulis. In addition, concession will be available for sale, with proceeds also going toward the library.

The event will take place in the large multi-purpose room where council meetings are held.

“It’s going to be decorated really nice,” Giles said.

The council woman said that if successful, the concert could become an annual event.

Tickets can be purchased at United Bank, the library and Summerdale Town Hall.

The town hall is located at 502. W. Lee Ave. in Summerdale. For more information, call 251-989-2011.
