SUMMERDALE, Ala. - The town of Summerdale will host a fireworks show July 2 at 9 p.m. to celebrate July the Fourth.
The fireworks will be shot at the town baseball field, and residents will gather at Pioneer Park. The city hosts a firework show each year around the Fourth of July holiday.
"The total cost is $2,500 for the city," Tiffany Lynn, Summerdale town clerk, said to the council at Tuesday's work session. "That will be about an eight to 16 minute show."
