Summerdale wreck claims two lives

A two-vehicle crash Thursday, Aug. 18, claimed two lives and injured two others. Sandy Mitchell Hadley II, 20, of Seminole, was killed when the 2011 Nissan 370Z he was driving collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. Hadley along with his passenger, Sarah Shea Williams, 18, of Theodore were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet along with a 3-year-old passenger were transported to South Baldwin Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The crash occurred at 7 p.m. on the Baldwin Beach Express at the Baldwin County 36 east intersection, within the Summerdale Police Jurisdiction. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
