Dear Editor:
This is for all of you who think otherwise: This country needs a new, much overdue, improved health care system.
Americans and our government should not stand by and let even one person suffer from the lack of health care, personally or in a public crisis.
I am tired of watching, hearing and experiencing myself and fellow human beings, forced to suffer the indignities, suffering and death for the lack of insurance due to lack of affordability, pre-existing conditions, laid off of a job and just meanness and insurance-legalese interpretations.
A similar but an improved plan like the ones afforded, for example—i.e. the British, Canadian and other civilized countries. It is abominable that the greatest and richest country on earth does not provide a public-supported health care system for its countrymen, women and children.
In regards to immigrants receiving public supported health care: Would Jesus kick someone—anyone—over to the curb to be picked up like some kind of trash?
