FAIRHOPE, Alabama— A video surveillance recording of alleged burglaries this week at the Fairhope Yacht Club is of adequate quality for the possible identification of a suspect, according to yacht club staff.
According to Fairhope police, approximately 14 boats were burglarized late Monday or early Tuesday, with the owners of about half that number having filed reports yesterday about missing items, which included safety and electronics equipment, alcohol and small change.
Arrangements have been made with the yacht club’s security company to provide the best copy of the video footage from that night to the police, according to FYC staff, and police reviewed the recording at the scene yesterday.
No suspects had been identified as of late Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
