DAPHNE, Ala. — Larry Donneil Woods Jr., 24, of Daphne, is wanted by the Daphne Police Department for first-degree robbery after allegedly shooting a 17-year-old in the left arm after a botched robbery.

According to authorities, Woods shot the victim in the Daphmont subdivision after demanding money from the teenager.

“He just walked up to (the victim) and said, ‘Give me everything you’ve got.’ And when (the victim) said he didn’t have anything, he shot him,” Daphne Police Lt. Jud Beedy said. Beedy said the victim was familiar with the shooter, having known him “from the neighborhood”; he said the teenager identified Woods during questioning.

After the incident, the suspect reportedly fled the scene. The 17-year-old was transported to the hospital, where he was treated and released.

The Daphne Police Department asks anyone with information on Woods to call the Daphne Police Department at 621-9100.
