On August 26, at approximately 4 a.m., the Orange Beach Police Department received multiple calls from concerned residents of suspicious individuals in the area walking around their houses and vehicles.
After police responded to the location in question a female subject was eventually located hiding in the woods that was identified as Hannah Edwards, 19. It was later determined that several vehicles had been entered unlawfully where items were taken.
After further investigation, it was determined that a second subject—later determined as Caleb Bowman, 20—was involved in these crimes as well.
Edwards was arrested after further investigation, and Bowman was arrested later on warrants pending. Both Edwards and Bowman are facing a combined total of 14 felony charges.
Bowman and Edwards are also suspects for multiple breaking and enterings in the surrounding area.
